Hugely popular, Marks and Spencer's light control shapewear bodysuit has been getting snapped up fast by eager fashion fans - and you can now get it for £10 less

Marks and Spencer has cut the price of a shapewear piece that shoppers have hailed as "perfect" for wearing under fitted clothing. The Cotton Rich Light Control Secret Support Bodysuit has been reduced to £15 from £25 - and it's selling fast.

The deal comes after M&S launched its highly-anticipated summer sale on August 3. Available in stores and online, the clearance event allows customers to enjoy huge discounts across all categories, but not for long.

A selection of lingerie and nightwear are featured in the M&S sale, including shapewear items like the retailer's own-brand bodysuit. Made from light control fabric, the cotton-rich piece aims to provide a flattering silhouette. It has easily adjustable straps, as well as hidden bust lining to give you a supportive lift.

The Cotton Rich Light Control Secret Support Bodysuit is currently still available in sizes eight, 12, 16, 18 and 22, but it's expected to sell out soon. On the M&S website, the shapewear has earned plenty of five-star ratings and praise from impressed shoppers.

One shopper said: "Comfortable, perfect to wear under fitted outfits - no horrid lines, gives a seamless look enhancing the look of your outfit".

A second added: "Lovely and soft perfect for under dresses".

While a third wrote: "Beautifully soft cotton and lovely fit. Just enough control to be effective but still comfortable. Good long body, so no cutting/chaffing."

However, one person didn't seem to be too pleased, adding: "The pant line rides up. Very annoying. Otherwise, I like it."
